Don’t Mess with Breakfast is a place to celebrate the first meal we eat upon waking. We’re interested in looking at breakfast from a multicultural perspective––what different cultures consider acceptable to eat for breakfast, how they prepare it, and how and when they eat it.
We’re Portland natives and longtime friends with a mutual appreciation for food and travel; in fact we believe the two are inseparable. We believe food has an uncanny ability to bring people together, and can speak volumes about your worldview. The idea for Don’t Mess with Breakfast began with cooking weekly dinners for our friends in college, where we learned that food should, above all, taste good, be fun, and be enjoyed with people you care about.
